Dr.Alleyne is the founder and managing partner of Gardiner Ebers consulting. An orthopaedic surgeon by training ,his  work as a consultant has spanned a decade working with a  broad range of venture capital, hedge and private equity funds .


He developed the “Medical School Model” of consulting that allows Gardiner Ebers to accurately identify a clients needs and put together appropriate, responsive individuals and teams with  deep sector expertise and appropriate business knowledge to deliver market leading results.  Dr.Alleyne serves as  a member of a number of corporate and philanthropic boards  and is a regularly invited speaker on healthcare markets .  


Dr. Alleyne is a graduate of Williams College and Wake Forest University School of Medicine. His  residency training was carried out at Howard University Hospital, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine knee and shoulder surgery at Yale University .


He completed a research  fellowship in the laboratory of Dr Cato Laurencin at Harvard/MIT Health Sciences and Technology in biopolymers and bone growth. He is an avid sailor, skier, mountain biker and jazz enthusiast.
